I've been a licensed Ohio real estate broker since 2004. In two decades I've watched hundreds of new agents walk the same road — searching for straight answers about hours, exams, costs, and how to actually get to the closing table.
Real Estate License Guide exists to give that answer in one place, state by state, without upsells disguised as advice. I hold an MBA and run MDC Realty Limited, where our team has managed over 1,000 residential and commercial properties across Ohio.
Every state page on this site is written or reviewed by me and dated with a 'last verified' timestamp. When a state changes its hour requirements, exam vendor, or renewal cycle, we update the page — and we say when.

Why this site exists
When someone asks me “how do I get my real estate license?” the honest answer is that it depends entirely on the state — and most of the guides on Google are written by marketers, not brokers. Real Estate License Guide is my attempt to fix that: one clear, verified answer per state, and a real name on every page.
